The Idle Hour Junior Golf Program is a year-round weekly instructional series geared towards the beginner to intermediate young golfer. Our goal is to generate interest in golf by making it fun while learning the basic fundamentals and beyond. The program is for junior golfers ages 6 - 14 and is open to members and their guests.

The Golf Learning Center at Idle Hour Club has a staff of professionals who have been recognized as Junior Golf Leaders in our state.  The Junior Golf Program has been designed to teach the basics of grip, stance, alignment and swing plane with advanced techniques implemented as the student improves.

Once a junior golfer commits to going to the next level and becoming a truly skilled player, then he or she should seek admission to The Blum Golf Academy or secure private lessons from our professional staff.

Dates and Times

Tuesday and Thursday- 4:00 – 5:45 (Includes instruction and competition)

Weekly until Thanksgiving.

Boys and Girls- Ages 6 – 14

$25.00 per session.

Each session is limited to 12 students.
